Kimberly Simonds, DDS
Dr. Kim started working in our office as a part-time chairside assistant during high school. She enjoyed it so much that she decided to become a dentist. She received her undergrad at the University of Kansas and then earned her doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School in 1998. After dental school, she practiced for three years with the Public Health Service treating the needs of under-served children in the Quincy, Illinois area.
In 2001, Dr. Simonds joined the staff at Ballwin Dental Care, the practice she now owns. She has participated in the Greater St. Louis Dental Society’s New Dentist Committee and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and the St. Louis Dental Society. Dr. Simonds has been repeatedly voted a “Top Dentist” by St. Louis Magazine.
Danny Gennaoui, DMD
Dr. Dan joined our practice in August 2012. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Afterwards, he participated in cell and molecular genetic research at Boston University. Dr. Dan received his DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he excelled, graduating with honors. Following graduation, Dr. Gennaoui worked with an advanced general dentistry program at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he provided comprehensive care to the community.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Dan loves to play basketball and tennis, watch sports of all kinds (rooting for any and all Boston teams), and spend time with his wife, family, and friends.
Robert Schrameyer, DDS
For the past 40 years, Dr. Schrameyer has been an established dentist on Manchester Road in Ballwin. He founded Ballwin Dental Care with one core value: building lasting relationships builds a practice.
Dr. Bob did his undergrad work at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois, and is a graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. Following his graduation, he practiced dentistry for two years in the Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey. For 12 years, Dr. Schrameyer was also an assistant clinical professor at Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Washington University Dental School Alumni Association. He has served on various committees for the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. In January 2015, in order to spend more time with family and go traveling, Dr. Schrameyer sold the practice to his daughter, Dr. Kimberly Simonds. He still sees patients occasionally because dentists don’t retire—they slowly extract themselves from the practice.

In her spare time, Emma plays in a women’s hockey league, but spends the rest of her time working out and going out with friends. She and her boyfriend love to go hiking, running, and trying new restaurants and food! Emma also tries to visit her family at least every other month in Columbus, Ohio.
Our Hygiene Team
We have four highly experienced hygienists at Ballwin Dental Care who will help you understand how to achieve a healthy mouth, why it’s important, and how it relates to your general health. Continuing education is very important to our office, and especially our hygienists, so much so that they all exceed the requirements of the state of Missouri for maintaining their licenses. They will provide you with a gentle but thorough cleaning and teach you how to be a partner in your own health.
Tammy is our hygiene team leader. She graduated in 1980 from Forest Park Community College with a degree in dental hygiene. She has been with Ballwin Dental Care since 1994. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Tammy was a dental assistant and receptionist. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years and their 4 year old daughter. Trips to the Zoo and Grants Farm, as well as picnics on a beautiful day, are some of the ways she and her family enjoy the outdoors. In her “me” time, Kellee does cross-fit training for fun. She also enjoys an occasional “Lazy day at home.”
